To make known its organoleptic, historical, gastronomic, functional profile, etc... salt as a universal and unique food in the world is an essential product for humans and animals. What do we know about salt? Different types of salt? How to distinguish them? History and importance. Differences in harvests in ponds and lagoons. Places of origin. Uses and lack of knowledge. Esotericism. Salt & Art.This tasting tries to make known in a simple, professional and dynamic way how to distinguish all of them when choosing this food and to open up the world in knowledge of this fundamental mineral. What salts do we present: Sea salts - Mine/gem salts - Spring salts - Liquid salts. Within each group of salts, their different characteristics. Among all of them, the most expensive salt in the world, with Korean origin. In this Tasting of Salts of the World, several origins from different geographical areas will be presented. This is a pioneering project in the Valencian Community, with great importance in the salt industry that surrounds it. All of this will be complemented with caffeine-free drinks for the exchange of flavours and with a final appetizer in the style of local salted fish and tomato with Flor de Sal. We promote responsible tourism that not only values the beauty of the destinations, but also respects and celebrates natural resources such as salt. Through this tasting, we raise awareness among customers about the importance of this unique mineral and its history, generating a positive impact on local communities.
