Palmanova, in Calvià, is the first beach in the Balearic Islands to have obtained the Q for Quality award. This beach offers, amongst other things, services (public toilets, ramps and toilets with disabled access, showers, children's games areas), security (lifeguard surveillance and attention, civil defence and municipal police), and optimum environmental conditions (strict hygiene controls of water and sand).
