Beach: El Egido
Linked to the vast sandy stretch of Santa Amalia Beach in Fuengirola. It is known as El Ejido and El Castillo (the castle) as Sohail castle lies nearby. It has the normal facilities you would associate with a city beach. Just like Santa Amalia, this beach is full of inhabitants from Fuengirola. Before the river actually spills out into the sea, it forms a small lake in which children also swim, as the water is not very deep and hotter than the sea water.
