Explore Spain's famous Costa del Sol by car. The journey starts in Marbella and ends in Malaga. Along the way, you will discover some of the most charming beaches and villages in the south of Spain.

  • Days 1-2: Marbella

    Marina of Puerto Banús, Málaga

    Arrival at Malaga airport and transfer to your resort in the coastal town of Marbella, known for its luxurious lifestyle. Spend the next 2 days relaxing on the beach, exploring the charming old town or visiting the famous marina of Puerto Banús (located about 15 minutes from Marbella town), full of luxury yachts, fine dining restaurants and exclusive designer boutiques. You will spend two nights in Marbella.

  • Day 3: Day trip to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas

    Visit the typical Andalusian village of Ronda (just over an hour's drive away). You can immerse yourself in Ronda's rich history by visiting landmarks such as the Puente Nuevo with spectacular views of the Tajo de Ronda. Explore the Plaza de Toros, one of the oldest bullrings in Spain, and the Lara Museum, which houses an impressive collection of historical artefacts. Enjoy a stroll through the old town, where you will find charming cobbled streets and picturesque squares. Also, just 5 kilometres from the city is the Reservatauro, a breeding farm for fighting bulls and pure Andalusian horses, where you might want to stop for a guided tour. After that, head north. Specifically, to the striking white town of Setenil de las Bodegas (half an hour by car). You can explore its unique streets, where the houses are set under large boulders that form a spectacular urban network. Admire the traditional architecture of the area in the streets of Cuevas del Sol and Cuevas de la Sombra. Don't forget to visit the Plaza de Andalucía and the Mirador del Carmen, where you will be able to take an impressive photograph of this unique town. Return to Marbella (almost an hour and a half drive) and spend the night there.

  • Day 4: Day trip to the beaches of the Costa del Sol

    Visit villages that you will never forget. Nerja, for example, has stunning beaches and magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. Frigiliana, on the other hand, is known for its Moorish architecture and picturesque cobbled alleys. Benalmádena is divided into two distinct parts: the coastal area and the mountain village, where you can explore its archaeological sites. And Fuengirola has a promenade that stretches for more than 7 kilometres and a historic centre that you cannot miss, with Sohail Castle and the Church of Santo Cristo. You can also visit Mijas and stroll through its beautiful old town full of cobbled streets and white houses; or Casares, where you must visit El Castillo, the Casa Natal Blas Infante, the Torre de la Sal and the Puente-acueducto de Los Baños. Night in Marbella.

  • Day 5: Marbella - Malaga

    Today, travel to the capital of the Costa del Sol, Malaga. A charming port city brimming with history and culture, from the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, to the Roman Theatre and the Picasso Museum (1.5 hours by car). Discover the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, as well as the Al-Andalus Mosque. You can also enjoy a visit to the Malaga Cathedral, Catedral de la Encarnación. Night in Malaga.

  • Day 6: Return home

    Make sure you visit the San Telmo Aqueduct and walk along Calle Larios, full of luxury stores and international brands. If, on the other hand, you're looking for something more traditional, you can find many craft shops in the city centre. For example, taking a piece of pottery home with you would make a great souvenir, as Malaga has been famous for its golden pottery since Islamic times. When you are finished shopping, drop off the car and fly back home from Malaga airport.
