We are Transhumant! Can you imagine leaving your urban life for 3 days to become a shepherd? Welcome to "Somos Trashumantes"! Immerse yourself in a unique and unforgettable adventure where you will become a Transhumant Shepherd for a weekend. You will travel with the shepherd along the Cañada Real Soriana. It is a real experience: in the summer, the shepherd returns from the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula, where he has spent the winter with his flock, to the land where he was born: the region of Tierras Altas de Soria. There, his family and hometown await him eagerly, organizing a feast in his honor where traditional music and food cannot be missed, such as the delicious homemade "rosquillos" made by the neighbor and the typical dishes of the region. The temperature rises in the air, as it will in the coming months with the arrival of summer, and the sheep no longer need the wool that covers them. Will you dare to shear them?As a real transhumance, one of the few remaining in the country, this activity is only carried out once a year, and not on a specific date, as it depends on the weather.
