Tour of the Val D'Aran. The Seventh stamp
Seventh stamp is a self-guided trekking with the transport of luggage that which takes place in the Val d'Aran. It is an itinerary through the history of the valley through its villages, banks and hills that have seen miners, shepherds of the transhumance and trade on the backs of mules. It’s a circular route that begins and ends in Vielha, with 103 Km of journey and 9480 m of accumulated height difference.It crosses three mountain pass: The Coll de Guerri (2.320 m) communicates the “Valle de Toran” with the lakes of Liat in the area named as Miner Territory of “Val d’Aran. The Puerto de Rius (2.340 m), it’s the former route of transhumance and area where you find the biggest lakes of the Aran as the “Estany de Mar” and “Rius”. The Puerto de Vielha (2.442 m) is the culminating point of the route.
