Camping in the Caldera
Escape to La Palma for a long weekend and discover the Caldera de Taburiente intensively on a two-day route. A magical experience for a short getaway to the Isla Bonita.Day 1: Arrival in La Palma on your flight and transfer to the hotel, located in Santa Cruz de La Palma. Meeting with the guide at 18:00 to receive all the information.Day: Departure in the morning in our mini-bus to the west of the island, entering La Caldera up to the viewpoint of Los Brecitos, gateway to the National Park. From there, we start the walk downhill, penetrating into the interior of La Caldera, visiting the Cascada Desfondada waterfall and the Cueva de Las Palomas cave. We camp next to Taburiente Beach. In the evening we can enjoy a spectacular starry night, sleeping in comfortable hanging tents - Haven Tents. Day 3: The next morning our route continues with the descent via El Reventón to the Barranco de Las Angustias. We will pass by Roque Idafe, discover the Cascada de Los Colores and Dos Aguas waterfalls and see the Almohadilladas Lavas at the end of the Barranco de Las Angustias. An improvised swim in the pools and waterfalls before returning to the hotel. Day 4: Depending on the departure time of your flight, you will still have time for a swim at the city's long beach, a shopping trip along the Calle Real or a pleasant circular walk to the Iglesia de Las Nieves.
