Beach: El Sombrerico

This is the last beach to the south of Mojácar. You can get here by car down a track of about 4 km. Very suitable place to come and spend the day.

The cove is accessed by a purpose-built pathway that passes through the car park bordering the cliff. Sheltered from the open sea by a long rocky strip called Punta de Somocuevas (Somocueva Point). This is a nudist beach.

It has direct access to the beach of Na Patana. It is close to the mouth of the flood channel of Son Sauló. It is possible to play beach volleyball, as well as stroll to the nearby beaches. There are hotels close by.

This beach constitutes one of the widest extensions of sand in Minorca. You can access it from the parking lot, by crossing the dunes.

It order to reach it, you must go to Port des Canonge and cross a very big green esplanade. This is a big beach that is open to the sea. It has a jetty and usually the shore is lined with small fishing boats.
