Beach: Playamar

The sand is quite fine and the beach has many facilities: all kinds of sunbeds and sunshades with windbreaks, walkways to protect feet from the hot sand, etc. Restaurants and shops liven up the summer.

Beach: Las Playas

A beach with quiet waters and good access. The road which links Timijiraque and Puerto Estaca runs behind it. It has restaurants.

Beach: El Playazo (Nerja)

A calm beach, away from the noise.

Beach: Playazo de Rodalquilar

Fine sand beach. The surroundings reflect the beauty of the Almería desert, mountains, palm trees, and dust (above all when the wind blows). To get to Playazo de Rodalquilar, follow the path leading from very near the village.

A peaceful, spacious beach located to the east of a fishing village of the same name. One of the best places for nautical manoeuvres because there are no difficult areas or dangers. There is a maritime atmosphere and in the town there are good, fresh fish restaurants.

Situated further on from the beach of San Juan, it begins at a viewpoint with access by stairs which leave from the beach of San Juan. The beach of Bayas has similar characteristics. Its waves are highly valued by surfers. At one end of the area of sandy ground there is an area which is called the beach of Requexinos.

A continuous part of Gorliz Beach, located in the bay of Plentzia. There is a big car park. The beach has an area reserved for swimming and another for sports, canoeing being the most popular. A long promenade connects Plentzia Beach with Gorliz.
