Beach: Coma-Ruga

The boardwalk that leads to the Coma-Ruga Sailing Club separates the beaches of Sant Salvador and Coma-Ruga. It is full of holidaymakers from the area. A promenade lines the back of the beach and runs until Sant Salvador Beach. A few small streams form on the beach.

This inlet is in a semi-urban area, ideal for enjoying the sun and quiet. It is a place frequented by nudists, and is easily accessible on foot and adapted for the disabled. Because of the characteristics of its waves, it is also a good place for surfing.

Beach: Comillas

A picturesque sandy beach in the village of Comillas. The city centre lies a littler farther back away from the beach that has a large car-park with many reserved disabled parking spaces as well as wheelchair ramps that lead right to the beach. The fishing port lies at one end of the beach. There is a good choice of bars and restaurants.

Beach: Compostela

Pretty beach that runs from Vilagarcía to Carril. The end of the beach (nearest the marina) is known as La Ancha. Behind the beach there is an excellent promenade, ideal for practising sports. It has been awarded the Blue Flag. It is a beach with a long fishing tradition.

Set in the heart of a pine and eucalyptus grove, it lies next to O Terron Beach. It can be reached from the road that leads to Cambados, and the beach is covered in gravel. It has wonderful views of Villanova de Arousa.

This beach changes appearance depending on the level of the tide. If the tide is low, it has a large strip of sand, which is ideal for strolling. It has all manner of services and facilities.
