Beach: Janubio

It is a beach of black sand of great beauty which is created by the mass of volcanic material which encloses the Janubio lagoon. Nudism is popular here. It has a car park and a viewpoint from which one can see the salt mines.

The beach is situated next to a hotel. A very wide beach with fine, golden sand.

Beach: Los Jesuítas

it has fine white sand which contrasts with the red wall which enclose the beach. It is a very natural beach with attractive views. Its name comes from a red building, which was a Jesuit monastery. It is possible to visit a Latin village, an area surrounded by buildings, whose ground floors are bars, restaurants and terraces.

This beach is watched over by lifeguards. It is ideal for sailing, kayaking and scuba-diving. It has a car-park, restaurants, a beach cleaning service and sun lounger hire.

Beach: El Jorado

Situated at the mouth of Jorado gully, it lies under a cliff and is quiet. It is advisable to visit it by boat.

Beach: La Joya

A nudist beach. You can get there by car, and thereafter walking along a path for some 500 metres until you reach the beach. There are boats anchored in the area.

It is an unspoiled beach with cliffs and coarse black sand. It is reached via the Juan López ravine, located near the road. It can also be reached by boat, and the waters are calm.
