Beach: Las Cañas

Located inside the zone declared as the Regional Park of Calblanque, on the opposite side to La Manga del Mar Menor. A cluster of hills shelters this beach. Nudism is permitted.

A quite crowded beach with some services. The stream of the same name flows out here. Here you can snorkel and dive.

Spectacular beach with crystal water revealing rocky beds. Access is good and there are a number of services. A very traditional tourist area.

Beach: Cancho del Fresno

It is located in the Cancho del Fresno reservoir, in the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark. You can take a dip as well as go fishing and engage in nautical activities. Nearby is the Cueva de la Chiquita, the first example of cave paintings to be discovered in the province of Cáceres.

Beach: El Candado

This spacious and carefully tended beach is flanked by two piers. It is an excellent family beach with an array of different services and facilities. It has some wonderful views of the rest of the coast and the adjoining housing developments. The rocky seabed is beautiful; ideal for scuba-diving.

This is the area's main beach. It has a breakwater and a fishing port with an array of fishing boats. The beach can be enjoyed along the promenade that leads up to Palmera Beach.

The village of Candelaria surrounds the beach and is popular with the locals.

It is a pretty beach that is well equipped with numerous facilities: sunbeds, wooden walkways from the car-park to the shower, bathing area and boat mooring area. the sand is white and fine and the water turquoise blue. Behind lie dunes and public baths.
