Beach: Cala Joncols

Twelve kilometres outside Roses and following a dirt track for six kilometres, you will reach this fantastic cove. Jóncols Cove has a scuba-diving centre and is well known among divers for the scuba-diving sessions enjoyed here.

A line of palm trees borders this beach of sand and stones. The sand is a very well defined grey colour. The rocks skirting the beach are an ideal place for snorkelling and looking for crabs.

It is a nudist beach, although not frequented by many. There is a viewpoint known as Espíritu Santo that has good views of the beach and surrounding scrub.

The fishing port of Atunara divides this beach into two areas. You can take a long walk with views of the Rock of Gibraltar. Near the beach, there is a very wide avenue with restaurants and bars, and an area reserved for parking. Easy access for wheelchairs.

This shell-shaped cove, hidden behind a small cliff, offers an incredible combination of turquoise, blue waters and arid hills.

It is a mainly fishing beach, where fishermen from the area moor their craft. In one of the buildings adjoining the beach small exchanges are organised as the fish comes in.

Access to Las Azucenas is quite difficult as it is necessary to cross farmland and sugar cane fields, which is why it is never a very busy beach. This tranquil beach is long and its surface is covered by pebbles and dark sand.

Tranquil, peaceful beach of grey sands and rocks at the ends of the shore, ideal for fishing. The area is brightened up with vegetation that grows along the beach. Steps lead down to the beach from the Bahía Dorada Housing Estate.

Inland beach in the Alloz reservoir in Navarra, with waters of excellent quality, gravel flooring and parasols. Nearby there is a campsite, Aritzaleku, and the Navarra Sailing School, where you can practice all types of water sports.

Its shallow waters are very calm. It is situated next to the small marina of Mazarrón. This beach could be considered a corner of the beach of Rella.

When the tide is low the sand takes on a greyish hue and when it is high, the beach is speckled with smooth pebbles and the water is calm. It is equipped with facilities. There is a campsite behind the beach that shares the same name as the beach.

White sand beach south of Castelldefels. It takes the name of the nearby train stop, which makes it one of the busiest beaches in the metropolitan area.

Situated right behind a cliff, this small cove in has the shape of a shell. It is a narrow beach of calm waters. A restaurant and a few houses are perched upon the cliff top.

You will find this beach, the continuation of Venus Beach, just before reaching Marbella fishing port. It is possible to get here on foot, along the promenade that runs the entire length of Marbella city coastline, separating the housing blocks from the beach.

This dark sand beach stands out because of its size and is situated on one of the most charming coasts in Andalusia. It is equipped with all kinds of services, mooring buoys for scuba diving and spas on the promenade.

Unspoiled beach. This beach is usually visited by nudist sunbathers. It is very well suited for windsurfing, especially funboard, as the waves can get quite big. There is a campsite close to the beach.

This is a fantastic beach for sailing. You can hire boats here and take trips across to the beaches that lie opposite: the beaches of Coto de Doñana.
