Behind the plain of banana trees, the vertical cliff face which reveals the long, narrow line of the beach. The surrounding area is rustic, scattered with small houses and offers a view of the village of Tazacorte. It may be accessed on foot, passing through a farmed area.

Enormous sand strip sunk between trees and abundant vegetation. Beach with lots of facilities available. The most characteristic of the beach is the lighthouse at one end. From the rocks in this area, the anglers cast their lines in the hope of catching a fish. To get there, take the road that goes to Muxia a Ponte do Porto.

One of those hidden beaches for people looking for a unique natural space lashed by a rough sea between rocks and the green of the Atlantic. In the 1970s, remains of a Mesolithic coastal camp (one of the few in the province of A Coruña) were found here.
