Parish Church of Santa María in Martes

The building is Gothic in origin and was built in around the 15th century. The church has a rectangular floor plan with two naves –one central and another shorter narrower nave– adjoining the Gospel side. The church has an important collection of 17th and 18th-century altarpieces, as well as an outstanding Gothic main altarpiece in transition to the Renaissance style.
