NEWART Centre

This pioneering exhibition space, located in Reus (Tarragona), brings together art, science and technology through an immersive experience full of surprises. 

This centre invites visitors to discover new forms of artistic creation through activities that stimulate the senses and spark curiosity. Spanning more than 3,000 square metres, elements such as moving images, sound, light and technology make for a highly unconventional experience. Here, visitors step into an imaginative world in a state of constant change, where innovation and experimentation take centre stage. The institution, situated outside the city centre, houses one of the world’s most important collections of digital art, comprising more than 200 works created by over 85 international artists. The collection, the result of more than two decades of work, allows visitors to explore the evolution of technological representation, from the earliest digital experiments to the most recent creations in artificial intelligence, generative art and interactive installations.
