Gothic monastery with a single-nave church.


The Gothic style monastery was built in the 14th century. The church has only one nave.

The monastery was founded in 1327 by Queen Elisenda de Montcada, the third wife of James II. The church has only one nave, a polygonal apse and magnificent rose windows. Sant Miquel chapel was painted by Ferrer Bassa in 1343, following the basic chapel design of the Italians.
