Interpretation Centre of the Kingdom of Aragon

Huesca

This modern and interactive space is integrated in the baroque church of the New Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, which was built in the 17th century when a fire burnt down the Old Monastery and rendered it uninhabitable, traditionally considered the origin of the Kingdom of Aragon. A series of large mobile screens are adapted to the architecture of the temple and an audiovisual presentation provides key insights into the history of the monastic complex, while an original glass floor structure allows the visitor to see the different rooms of the New Monastery.
