Sculpture "Monument to Fernando Villamil"

This monument was built to commemorate the sailor and writer Fernando Villamil (1845-1898), who distinguished himself as a soldier in Cuba, first on land during the uprisings, and subsequently at the command of a destroyer in the naval battle of Santiago de Cuba against the Americans.
