Metropolitano Stadium

The Metropolitano has been the home stadium of Atlético de Madrid football club since 2017. It is a modern sports facility covering more than 88,000 square metres.

The stadium is located in the north-east part of the city, close to Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas Airport and the IFEMA trade fair complex. This is the third largest football stadium in Spain, with a capacity for over 70,000 spectators. The Metropolitano holds Category 4 status, the highest distinction awarded by UEFA in its infrastructure regulation ranking. A large flag bearing the club's crest, mounted on a 40-metre-high flagpole, flies proudly in the south end corner of the stadium, honouring its fans.Besides visiting the stadium during team matches, you can also sign up for a tour to explore the interior, including the pitch, the locker rooms, and the Atlético de Madrid museum.
