Tiermes Archaeological Site

Are the remains of a Celtiberian town that was crucial in the wars against the Romans, similar to Numancia. Mentioned in a multitude of Empire chronicles.Independent until the I century A. C. Thereafter Romanisation arrived.In the same place as the ruins there is also a necropolis and a Visigothic hermitage.
