Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of Granada
Granada
The documented history of the Nasrid city
Created in 1879, the museum is located in the Casa de Castril, a 16th century palace.
The exhibition aims to portray the daily life of Granada's society and inhabitants, which have now disappeared. Through material testimonies and archaeological pieces, the economic, social and ideological processes of different periods are illustrated, from prehistory to the key year of 1492.
