What are the wines like?
The wines of La Manchuela are characterised by their own personality marked by their continental-Mediterranean climate. The Bobal grape is the iconic variety, offering young red wines of intense colour, fruity aromas and lingering tannins. The terroir, or ‘sense of place’, moulded by fluvial sediments and the abrupt temperature fluctuations, provides singularity and quality. The D.O. Manchuela, created in 2000, guarantees diverse wines, made with modern techniques without losing the centuries-old tradition handed down from generation to generation.
