The geological processes that have occurred over the centuries have resulted in a uniquely beautiful natural landscape in this park, dominated by a diverse range of volcanic materials.

The Protected Landscape of Los Campeches, Tigaiga and Ruíz is composed of a diverse range of volcanic materials and has a high scenic value, featuring steep slopes and beautiful cliffs that provide refuge for numerous endemic island species. Its flora includes shrublands, heather formations and remnants of laurel forest. There are spaces with new reforestations of Pinus canariensis and Pinus radiata, along with a few specimens of the Canarian willow. As for the fauna, common birds in this area include the kestrel, the blue tit, the chaffinch, the blackcap, the grey wagtail, the goldcrest and the white-throated and black-backed pigeons, two species unique to the Canary Islands worldwide.
