RACC Rally Catalonia – Costa Daurada

The Costa Daurada, on the coast of the Catalonia region, is hosting a new edition of this race, which is usually part of the world rally calendar.

The circuit is highly regarded amongst racing fans for its fast, technical and winding road sections. As well as causing significant tyre wear, this rally demands a high level of skill from the drivers.The competition, which has been the scene of some great battles since 1957, starts in the town of Salou, in the province of Tarragona, and is based at the PortAventura theme park for the three days of the event. It is a decisive round that counts towards various championships, including the World Rally Championship since 1991.
