Cadiz en Danza International Dance Festival

Since its launch in 2001 to bring contemporary dance closer to the public, the Cádiz en Danza International Dance Festival has become a reference for new trends in dancing.Contemporary dance, flamenco, circus, dance-theatre, urban dance, performances... Every year, prestigious national and international companies show their latest stage creations at this event. The festival's program also features projects by young authors and performers, as well as training activities and workshops for children.Dance can be enjoyed throughout the city: the shows are held in different venues, public spaces and unique places in Cadiz. And a large part of the scheduled performances and activities are free and freely accessible. The Gran Teatro Falla, the Plaza de la Catedral, the Sala Central Lechera, the Oratorio de San Felipe Neri, the Entrecatedrales platform or the Space for Contemporary Creation (ECCO) are some of the usual settings for the Cádiz en Danza International Dance Festival.
