Classical Theatre Festival Classics in Alcalá

The Alcalá Classical-Classics Festival has been held in Alcalá de Henares, in the province of Madrid, since 2001.

This is an event that lovers of good theatre cannot afford to miss. There are performances of works by Cervantes, Lope de Vega and Calderón de la Barca among Spanish playwrights, as well as plays by Molière and Shakespeare, among others. The performances take place in the Cervantes Salon Theatre and in the Corral de Comedias, although there are performances in other venues in the town, such as the La Galera University Theatre or the historic centre.
