It´s a very long urban beach which is adjoined to the tranquil Puerto Rey urbanisation. It has many services and amenities:  access for people in wheelchairs, public toilets, showers, water taps, surveillance, umbrellas, hammocks, etc. One of its great attractions worth visiting is its club, which has a sailing school and a sports centre for kayaking. Every year, during its traditional summer festivals, popular chess tournaments are held, although mus is gaining more and more followers. Nearby is the mouth of the Antas River, which has a small lagoon that is a stopping place for a large number of migratory birds from Europe and Africa; it is well worth a visit on a walk from the beach.
