In the town of Guardamar del Segura, this beach of fine golden sand is halfway between the town and the dunes at the southern end. In summer there are beach bars in the area. El Moncayo beach has a lifeguard, loungers for hire, and taps for washing sandy feet. Despite these services for the comfort of swimmers, the place still seems wild and natural, and much quieter than other beaches in Guardamar del Segura.
