Unique room in the Parador of Olite

Queen Leonor de Trastámara lived at this Old Palace of Olite since her marriage to Charles III of Navarre, the Noble, until the construction works of the New Palace finished.Among the different rooms conserved until today, this room located on the second floor of the building is one of the most outstanding ones. It's divided into two spaces and is crossed by a large original beam that joins the palace stonework wall, where you find a broad picture window from which the Monastery of San Francisco and Sierra de Ujué can be admired. In addition, there are two four-posted beds and an impressive original chimney –no longer usable- built of stonework stone and bricks, creating an authentic medieval atmosphere, with the 21st-century comforts. The room also has two four-posted beds and a chimney –no longer usable- built of stonework granite and clay bricks, creating an authentic medieval atmosphere that make the stay worthwhile. Studies conducted showed that the original chimney used to be richly decorated. The noble floor where the room is located used to be the one of highest category in the Palace. This room makes a pair with its twin room, that of King Charles III of Navarre, the Noble.THE UNIQUE ROOMS PACK includes:- Upon arrival:Welcome drinkPersonalised welcomeFree parking- During your stay:Unique gifts (bottle of sparkling wine, water, fruit gift, newspapers).Dinner.
