Enjoy the spectacular sunset at an altitude of over 3,555 metres, with the pyramid-shaped shadow of Mount Teide cast over the sea, from the observation decks of the upper cable car station and the trail to the Pico Viejo Viewpoint. Weather permitting, you can enjoy views of southern Tenerife and neighbouring islands such as La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma.If it is not possible to take the cable car due to weather and/or operational conditions, the corresponding amount will be refunded. Please note that during the winter months, it is more likely that the cable car will not be operational due to weather conditions; in this case, the sunset will be enjoyed from viewpoints in Teide National Park.Teide-dinner (picnic-style): After sunset, you will enjoy a delicious picnic-style dinner with carefully selected products, and the option of a Teide Dinner or a Teide Vegetarian Dinner, which you must select on the form when completing your purchase.Stargazing on Mount Teide: After dinner, you will enjoy stargazing in the company of Starlight guides and with long-range telescopes, under one of the best starry skies in the world. You’ll be able to observe constellations, planets and other celestial objects. On nights when there’s a full moon, the observation will focus on the Moon’s details and surface features.If weather conditions prevent or hinder clear visibility of the sky, our guides, supported by audiovisual resources, will present a virtual view of that night’s sky, the constellations and the most outstanding objects.
