Pilgrimage day to Saint Toribio Monastery

You will spend a relaxed day of self-reflection and of recognition to the hand of God through the wonderful Cantabrian landscape. An experience you cannot miss on this Lebaniego Jubilee Year.We will do this trip by van (or minibus), following the coastal Camino de Santiago (“the Way of St. James”) from Santander to San Vicente de la Barquera. Afterwards, we will follow the Lebaniego Way up to Potes after taking a small deviation to enjoy the spectacular views that offers one of the best viewpoints in Cantabria, the Mirador de Santa Catalina. From the city of Potes we will begin our small pilgrimage by foot to the Monastery of Santo Toribio (45 min. approx.), where we will attend the Pilgrim's Mass. Finally, we will return to have our lunch in Potes. We will enjoy the region’s signature dish: its famous “Cocido Lebaniego” (a stew made with chickpeas) and, of course, we will let you take some time to visit and discover this fantastic historical village.INCLUSIONSTransportGuidePilgrimage CredentialLebaniega certificateMidday Meal Menu (Codido Lebaniego)TaxesInsuranceNOT INCLUDEDFood and drinks a part from those included in the menuMonuments and cultural visit entries
