Italica, Cradle of Emperors

On this tour we are going to interpret one of the best preserved archaeological in Spain. Its importance resides in that was the first Roman foundation in the Iberian Peninsula in 206 BC by Publio Cornelio Escipión and centuries after cradle of emperors such as Trajan and Hadrian.We will discover the “Vetus Urbs” (under the current municipality of Santiponce) and we will visit the “Nova Urbs” and we will interpret their urban planning, streets, walls and sewers.
