Guided tour and wine tasting in Palacio de los Mencos

A ninety-minute tour, accompanied by a family member, will allow you to discover the different rooms on the main floor as well as the wine cellar.In so doing, you will discover a home that sheltered Elisabeth Farnese, Ferdinand VII, Maria Amalia of Saxony or Alfonso XII. The building also served as headquarters for the French Army during the Peninsular War, headquarters for Maria Christina’s army and a Red Cross hospital during the Carlist Wars. More recently, it served as a training academy for under-officers and Civil Guard headquarters during the Spanish Civil War.At the end, the family’s wines, sausages and extra virgin olive oil will be tasted in the historic winery.It is carried out in small groups of a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 14.The price of the visit is €10/person (children under 3 years old free) and must be made by appointment.
