Guided tour to the Roman cellar in Barcelona
Discover the origin of wine in the land of the Pansa Blanca! The Roman cellar is an archaeological site that between the 1st century BC and 5th century AD was a wine center in the Roman Layetania. It has the only two reconstructions of wine presses in the country, accompanied by numerous artifacts of the time. The guided tour begins with an audiovisual presentation, followed by a visit to the site accompanied by an expert guide. At the end of the tour, you will taste a glass of local wine (DO Alella)!Regular sessions are in Spanish. English tours are available for groups at a different rate.
