The French Camino from St Jean in France to Santiago

This is the most comprehensive route of the Camino de Santiago and is perfect for those that are looking for a complete pilgrim experience. The route starts out in France and then continues across the north of Spain, and is perfect for discovering local customs, food and wine, meeting other pilgrims and enjoying the unique atmosphere. This route starts in St-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the French side of the Pyrenees and finishes about 780km later in Santiago. The stage from St-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Roncesvalles is very difficult.
