Isabel Fernández, "soul" of the Casa de la Torre for 25 years and an expert in the traditions of her land, offers you a unique experience to live, enjoy, and learn about something so important in the culture of La Mancha del Quixote: its cuisine.You will learn to prepare the most classic and famous recipes from La Mancha, you will know the products and tricks of the grandmothers that make a farming kitchen (that finds its deep roots in the 16th century) an exquisite experience for the most demanding tastes, you will savor the dishes that delighted Sancho Panza… And finally, between a talk about Don Quixote and a reading of Cervantes' work, you will sit at the table to continue enjoying this gastronomy, pairing it with an excellent wine from our cellars.You will learn to prepare and you will taste: "a pot of more cow than mutton" (with its soup, its vegetables and its croquettes), the "salpicón of the most nights", the "duelos y quebrantos", the "Friday lentils" , and for the holidays "the addition palominos"...We are waiting for you at Casa de la Torre, in the town of Dulcinea!
