The Flamingo tour of the Odiel Marshes

The Odiel Marshes Biosphere Reserve is the second largest wetland in Huelva province after Doñana and one of the most important saltmarshes in Western Europe. The silt of the rivers Odiel and Tinto created this estuary in which we can find a paradise for the birdlife. This is a half day out to the “Kingdom of the Tide” to look for waders, seabirds and other aquatic birds such us Flamingo, Spoonbill, Black-necked Grebe, Osprey, Marsh Harrier, etc. By the road that connects some of the islands on the Odiel Marshes we can get to Anastasio Senra’s Visitor Centre and continue to have interesting sightings on the mudflats in the south of the reserve. The permission to enter the restricted area is given by the Office of the Reserve for every visit and is not guaranteed for various reasons: health&safety, works at the salt pans, conservation, etc.We can pick you up from your hotel for an extra fee from 5 Euro per person.
