During Valencia Medieval Tour we will discover some of the most interesting anecdotes and stories of the city during the Muslim rule and the later Christian Reconquest. Tour HighlightsYou will learn about Valencian history while we walk around the city center. Starting from the Fall of the Roman Empire, Valencia changed drastically after the Muslims Conquer. Culture, agriculture, defensive architecture enrich the city. After the Christian Reconquest Valencia lived another splendorous time with the arrival of the Printing. Was here, in Valencia where the first book in the Iberian Peninsula was published. And it was in Valencian.Great families, authors, buildings. From all of them we will talk during the tour to learn more about Valencia and its Kingdom.This walking tour will take about 1,5 hours. Starting at Plaza de la Virgen, next to the fountain and finishing at Lonja de Mercaders, better known as Silk Exchange Market building.Check the days and times for the visit at the Calendar.
