Vias Ferratas in Huesca

A via ferrata is a vertical or horizontal itinerary. They are equipped with varied material: spikes, fasteners, dams, handrails, chains, hanging bridges,… It will enable you to get to difficult access zones staying safe, even though you are not a professional hiker. Security is guaranteed thanks to a steel cable fixed all the way long on which we will be attached by our harness.Vias ferratas are suitable for experimented hikers and used to the mountains, those who are not interested by pure and simple hiking. Also for hikers that have not practiced for a while and people in general who are looking for adventure and new and strong experiences. It is an activity appreciated by young and mature persons who are not interested in walking activities. It is recommended to be in good physical condition and to be familiar with heights. Duration: It is a half day activity.Recommendations: It is necessary to wear comfortable sportswear. Depending of the season, you will need more or less covering clothes. The use of gloves is recommended.Conditions: We provide energy absorber harness and special carabiners for vias ferratas that secure you in case of a fall, also helmet.Vias ferratas count within the “Sports of adventure” in Huesca. The ones we realise the most often are the one of the Foradada del Toscar and of Sorrosal in Broto. They are located in villages near Huesca such as Ainsa, Boltaña, Fiscal, Escalona, Laspuña or Bielsa.
