Spain for families�

If you are travelling with your family, we can assure you that your children will not be bored. Spain is an eminently family-friendly and kid-friendly holiday destination. Spanish society in general is very family-oriented, and there are always plenty of activities and services for children.

Do you like theme parks? You’ve got plenty to choose from. Some of the most famous are Port Aventura (in Catalonia, on the Costa Daurada), Parque Warner Madrid, and Isla Mágica in Seville. Would you rather see animals? There are also fascinating aquariums, zoos and wildlife parks. All of them have places to eat, so your best option is to set aside a whole day to enjoy any of these parks.

These aren’t the only fun things to do in Spain. If you like being high up, a ride in a cable car gives you a bird’s eye view of major cities like Madrid and Barcelona, or towns on the Costa del Sol such as Benalmádena.

It doesn’t matter what time of year you come to Spain, because there’s always something fun to do. In winter, to enjoy the snow, you can visit ski resorts like Navacerrada, very close to Madrid. Spring is a lovely time to walk, take a boat onto the lake, and watch puppet shows in city parks like the Retiro in Madrid (although it is always lively at the weekends all year round).
