The Transcantábrico, a rolling luxury hotel in northern Spain

The Transcantábrico train hotel is a wonderful way to enjoy the famous natural beauty spots of northern Spain. Travelling aboard an authentic luxury hotel on rails is sure to surpass your expectations. An incredible experience, and the ideal honeymoon. As well as watching amazing landscapes pass by as you travel by the mountains and the sea, exploring lively squares and streets, visiting places of interest and picturesque ports, you will also stop in sophisticated cities such as Bilbao, Santander, Gijón, Oviedo and Santiago de Compostela, where you can go shopping and find unique souvenirs. And of course, there is the option of hiring the entire train.

There is an undeniably romantic air to this trip,  thanks both to the locations and to the elegant saloons, some with live music, where you can relax over a drink.

Another point worth noting is the fine food, as northern Spain is famous for its chefs and its excellent ingredients. If you would also like a special menu adapted to your tastes or requirements, be sure to ask for it when booking.

For comfort, this train also remains in the station overnight. In fact, while the train is at the station, you can go on one of the scheduled excursions, stay on board, or explore the location for yourself.

Remember that you can choose from two modes of travel: the Transcantábrico Gran Lujo and the Clásico.
