Beach: Poo

The width of this beach depends greatly on the tide: when the tide is low, the beach can reach widths of up to 300 metres, in comparison to the 30 metres of beach during high tide. The beach has a restaurant, shower and car park. It is the closest beach to Llanes not including those within the town centre. The isle of Poo lies directly opposite the beach, which is surrounded by luxuriant vegetation.
