Snowshoeing Initiation

The ultimate snow hiking experience: the ease of trekking across snowy terrain using snowshoes specially designed to walk without sinking, along with ski-type poles. This is an easy-level activity, accessible to anyone.This activity usually takes place at the Somport Pass, on the border between Spain and France, in the area of Ibón de Piedrafita or the Portalet area. Hikes can also be done in Ordesa, the Tena Valley, the Aragón Valley, Hecho, Ansó, and many other hidden corners of the Pyrenees.Whether you go alone, as a couple, with friends or family, walking and leaving your own trail on the snow will leave an unforgettable memory.MINIMUM REQUIRED AGE: 8 years old or shoe size 35 EU minimum (for younger children, please inquire)RECOMMENDED GEAR: Warm and waterproof trekking boots – comfortable, warm clothing, gloves and hat, sunglasses.– small backpack with water and some food and drink.
