Snowshoeing in Ordesa (Huesca)

Snowshoeing excursions are suitable for all types of people, choosing the right route. Once at the destination we will put on our snowshoes, gaiters, poles and start the excursion. It is advisable to take some backpack in case we have some clothes left over to store them, and to bring some water and some lunch, we will take hot drinks. As for the clothes, you must bring a hat, gloves and hiking boots, it is advisable to bring snow pants if you have them, if not the closest to mountain clothes, it is also interesting to bring protective cream and sunglasses.To make the excursion with snowshoes, we meet at 9:30 am at our base in Escalona. After taking the necessary material we go up in the transport provided by Nómadas del Pirineo and we go to the place of the excursion. During the trip we will be able to listen to audio guides of our environment (Geology, history, culture, nature, legends, etc.)In the field of active tourism and adventure sports there is a potential risk derived from their own nature. The guides and technicians have the preparation and experience appropriate to the activity they carry out. Following their instructions and guidelines depends, to a great extent, the safety during the activity.
