Astronomy: guided visit to Galáctica

Galáctica is the first park in Europe to combine astronomy education and observation of the sky for all audiences. Promoted by the Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón, Galáctica offers the public semi-professional facilities for scientific, educational, cultural and environmental uses. It's located near the Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre, in an area close to the town of Arcos de las Salinas (Teruel), which doesn't suffer from light pollution and has excellent atmospheric quality, allowing astronomical activities to be performed in very good conditions.The museum installations offer interesting concepts of astronomy. Each area is dedicated to a theme and the interactive modules show videos, audios or multimedia content that can be adapted to different levels or languages. The guided tour takes place around the main modules of the Galáctica museum and their respective explanations by an expert astronomy guide. It includes a visit to the forest of domes and the GT80 telescope.
