It rises in a semicircle around the town of Tejeda. We walk along the ridge and enjoy the view of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga.Distance: 12.1 kmDifference in altitude: + 690 m/ - 660 m2. Climbing the Pico de Las Nieves from San BartoloméThe old Camino Real climbs up to Gran Canaria's highest mountain. We will be rewarded with unique views through the Nublo window and as far as the neighbouring island of Tenerife.Distance: 10.8 kmDifference in altitude: + 1056 m/ - 83 m3. The Tirajana fortressThe indigenous people put up fierce resistance to the Spanish conquerors in the gorge near the fortress of Tirajana. Abandoned hamlets in the sunny gorge remind us of times gone by.Distance: 9.3 kmDifference in altitude: + 480 m/ - 265 m4. Rest dayRelax with a swim in the sea at one of the nearby beaches or natural pools or discover the old town of Galdar and the local gastronomy.5. Along the Water Route to AgaeteHike in the northwest of the island passing three water reservoirs until we descend continuously in the Barranco de Agaete. Distance: 15.4 kmDifference in altitude: + 270 m/ - 1265 m6. Firgas: the Azuaje gorgeCircular hike in the vegetated north of the island. The Azuaje nature reserve is densely overgrown with reeds, willows and laurel trees.
