Creative week: ceramics and culture under the Andalusian sun

Would you like to spend six days shaping clay in a sunny village in the middle of the olive groves?Live with a local artist, create in a beautiful studio with views of the countryside, and experience the flavours, calm and traditions of rural Andalusia.At Modelando entre Olivos, we offer a truly immersive experience combining ceramics and culture in the heart of Jaén. Inma, a tour guide and translator, and Miguel Ángel, an artist and potter, open the doors of their home in Arjonilla—a peaceful village surrounded by olive trees and steeped in pottery tradition.You'll explore a variety of ceramic techniques, including throwing, hand-building and sculpting, all in a calm and inspiring environment.But what makes this experience truly special is the opportunity to live with your hosts. It's the most authentic way to connect with the culture of Jaén and Andalusia. You'll share delicious home-cooked meals made with local extra virgin olive oil, and take part in cultural and sightseeing activities to explore the region.Over the course of the week, you’ll visit beautiful nearby towns like Arjona, Andújar and Linares, learn how olive oil is made, and relax with peaceful walks among the olive groves.It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, spark your creativity, and dive deep into Andalusian life.What's included? - Ceramics sessions, 3 hours per day: creative freedom with individual guidance (no rigid programme) in an inspiring natural setting.
