Located in the Las Letras quarter, Miguel de Cervantes is buried here.
The convent of San Ildefonso and San Juan de Mata, better known as the Church and Convent of the Discalced Trinitarian Order, dates from the 17th-18th centuries. It has a brick facade and a portico with three doors and grated windows. It has a plaque commemorating the author of Don Quixote, who is buried here and whose daughter took vows in the convent, as did the daughter of poet and playwright Lope de Vega.
