Natural Reserves and birdwatching in Andalusia
For nature lovers and especially those who enjoy birdwatching, we are bringing you a very complete experience in which you will get to know different spots in the region that have been granted categories of protection, such as the National and Natural Park of Doñana, the Natural Reserve of Odiel Estuary or the Natural Park of Isla Cristina Marshlands, to mention a few. You will unconver incredible places in a week-long trip led by our team of local naturalist guides who are great experts of this area and its biodiversity.Once you arrive in Seville, we will take care of the rest! We will pick you up at the train station/airport and take you to the accommodation in Isla Cristina, where you can enjoy privileged views from their roof terrace. The appartments have everything you may need to feel comfortable after an intense day outdoors. During the entire week, we will travel daily with our vans to the most emblematic points of several protected natural areas. There, you will learn about the biodiversity, threats and conservation. In addition, we will lend you a pair of binoculars to watch birds, and with our telescope we will show you in great detail each of the different species that might show up in every moment. We are located in an idyllic site for birds due to our strategic location between two continents. Thus, we are fortunate to receive wintering birds from northern and eastern Europe, bird species that come to their breeding area in the summer, resident species that stay all year around, and some others that are passing through along their migration routes. But it's not all about birds, of course! We also want to highlight the great diversity of ecosystems that surround us and the very important role that each of the species plays in them. And in terms of landscapes... you better find out yourself!
